An organisation of bereaved parents offering friendship and understanding to other bereaved parents.


Child and Family Service

In each local Health area

Early Childhood Health Team: 0-5 years and Child and Youth Team 5-17 years: public health nurses, social workers, Maori community health workers, dieticians and medical officers.

Paediatric Home Care Team: services for sick children in their own home; provided by district nurses and dieticians.
Child Development Team: specialist services for children with disabilities provided by occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers and speech language therapists.

Needs Assessment and Service Coordinator: assessment of the need for services for children with disabilities and coordination of those services.

Gastric Reflux Support for Infants and Children Association. (Replaces GRASP).

In May 2004 GRSNNZ (Gastric Reflux Support Network NZ) re launched the old GRASP free calling line 0800-380 517.

Our website with printable fact sheets on every topic associated with Infant Gastric Reflux including medication information, specialists, natural options, practical ideas to use at home, the positives of breastfeeding and reflux, Coping with babies' crying, working with your specialists, and an endless list of other material.

We provide parents/guardians with information; and encourage them to access relevant services that are available in their own communities.
