Heart Children New Zealand has proudly been the Official Charity of the Wattyl Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge for five years now, it has been a fabulous relationship that has grown from strength to strength. Click here to read more.
This year we had 27 heart children riding the last 5km of the Cycle Challenge to help Kiwi kids with heart disease, just like them. To read more about the heart children team click here.
Participant of this year’s Wattyl Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, were invited to join the Heart Children team. Over a hundred riders set up a fundraising page and the money raised goes directly to support children and families overwhelmed by childhood heart disease. Children at home in towns around New Zealand, children in hospital and children who dream that they too may one day be well enough to ride at such a prestigious cycling event.
